Ok, so I have been lame and lazy with updating and don’t feel like updating every little thing that has gone on the last few days. For some exclusive pictures of Britney in Japan, including her “Hey Hey Hey” performance, head over to BritneySpears.com and the Bitches there will take care of you.
Here is a video, thanks again to the bitches, of Britney enjoying some sushi.
“Womanizer” continues to climb up the mediabase charts and from the looks of it, she is on her way to #1. Britneys “Womanizer” is currently sitting at #2 and will most likely *crosses fingers* make it to #1 by the end of this week or earlier!
Heres a look at the new Hidden Fantasy perfume box and bottle.
Ok, I think that is it for the updating for now. Enjoy and comment!
..close to 500,000 copies in the albums first week in sales! Newish reports are suggesting that she will blow away the initial estimates and she will of course be number #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Album Chart. Initial speculation suggested album sales of around 300k to 350k and have increased to around 470k to 490k due to the overwhelming demand and love for Britney.
There is no doubt that the 3 performances overseas, the MTV documentary, and the GMA birthday bash definitely helped with sales. Showing that Britney is indeed back and ready to take on the world.
Her newest music video for her second single, “Circus”, also debuted on Thursday which will hopefully add a boost in sales.
Britney.com is also trying to pitch in a little help with their “Give Britney Gold For Her Birthday” goal. Britney would have to sell around 600k to attain Gold status according Britney.com.
Britney Spears also appeared at both lighting ceremonies in NY and in LA, further showing the world that she is ready. She will be appearing on Ellen on the 16th and if Oprah has her way there will be a sit down interview on its way….
I think its official to say Britney is INDEED back. She has re-positioned her self on the pop princess throne and is ready to take over the world starting in March with her “Circus” tour.
The following article is from Billboard.com. Britneys is gonna be #1, Britneys is gonna be #1, Britneys is gonna be #1, Britneys is gonna be #1! Sorry, I’m a little excited!!
Britney Spears’ sixth studio album, “Circus,” is on track to debut at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 next week, as the Jive set will lead Nielsen SoundScan’s Building chart when it is released later today (Dec. 3).
Unweighted first-day sales of “Circus” through the close of business yesterday stood at 219,000. Billboard estimates the eight merchants who report to Nielsen SoundScan’s Building chart — Trans World Entertainment, Best Buy, Circuit City, iTunes, Starbucks, Borders, Target and Anderson Merchandisers — comprise about 80% of all U.S. album sales.
Sources close to the project suggest that “Circus” could move as much as 450,000 in its first week.
If “Circus” arrives atop the tally, it will be Spears’ fifth No. 1 album. Among female artists, only four have racked up more chart-toppers: Barbra Streisand (eight), Madonna (seven) and Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson (both with six).
Spears’ last release, 2007’s “Blackout,” bowed at No. 2 with 290,000 behind the debut of Eagles’ “Long Road Out of Eden” (711,000).
Second Britney Spears comeback CD almost as good as the first

It’s time for another Britney Spears comeback: Call this one the remix version.
It was only last year that our damaged diva attempted to put the focus back on her once spectacular music career with “Blackout.” A tight collection of sexy club-oriented grooves, “Blackout” was a delight, and had so much hit-worthy material even Janet Jackson could have been resurrected with it.
But “Blackout” never had a chance at success because its star wasn’t as well put together as the album. (It’s hard to generate hits when your personal life is in turmoil.)
Now Spears - while still very different from her previous superstar incarnation, circa 1998-2003 - seems on the road to recovery, thanks to court-appointed guidance from her dad and other positive developments. She seems ready for a rebirth, so it’s fitting that “Circus” - her sixth studio album - makes its debut as she celebrates her 27th birthday.
And like any good circus, Britney’s version will leave you thoroughly entertained. Though “Blackout” was a gem, it seemed like the album was mainly due to the creative and technological wizardry of its producers, with minimal vocal effort from Spears. This time around, her pleasant yet thin voice comes through more clearly, not aided by as many layers and studio manipulations. She is also credited with co-writing two tracks.
Spears spends much of her energy trying to get people in the mood to groove, and it works on fun disco tracks like “Womanizer,” “Shattered Glass” and the cleverly titled “If U Seek Amy” (say it fast and you might need your mouth washed out with soap). She teams up with former collaborators like Max Martin (who wrote her career-making hit “. . . Baby One More Time”) and Nate “Danja” Hills, who was responsible for some of the best music on “Blackout.” But newcomers also help out, like the Outsyders (on “Womanizer”).
A few songs hint at the media circus her life has become, including “Kill the Lights,” where Spears takes on the paparazzi.
But she strikes the most personal and emotional chords on the slower tracks, most notably on the dreamy, synth-centric “Unusual You,” on which she coos, “Baby you’re so unusual, didn’t anyone tell you you’re so s’pposed to break my heart, I expect you to, so why haven’t you?” Though she didn’t write the song, it’s hard not to wince in empathy when you think about the string of users who have filtered in and out of her life.
The most poignant track is the ballad “My Baby,” co-written by Spears. On it, she sings to her “precious love.” It’s an ode to one of her sons, with lines like, “How did I get through all of my days without you?” Considering she doesn’t have full custody of her two boys and is trying to strengthen her parental bond after a period of turmoil, it’s especially touching - so much so that we can forgive the song for being just a little bit sugary. After all her recent drama, Spears deserves something sweet in her life.
Check out this track: Acknowledging that many fans probably didn’t hear her best work on “Blackout,” Spears includes “Radar,” one of the standout tracks from that CD - as a bonus track on “Circus.” She should have included the whole CD and done a double disc.
The article below is a prime example of the general public, fans, etc not being able to get enough of Britney Spears. No matter how much Britney decided to open up and shed about her PERSONAL life, its never enough. Everyone always wants more. Just like Britney said in the documentary, “Its none of their business”. As a fan I feel like I got plenty of insight into a part a Britneys life, that she doesn’t have to share with me, but CHOSE to. She may have not gone into detail about every episode that Britney has experienced in the last 2-3 yrs, but she answered the questions. Gave us more than what we had before.
The reporter makes a sad attempt at claiming Britney’s answers to the questions provided little insight. Jumbling what Britney responded with to one question with another, making it seem like all her answers were just a blur. She also says the show was suppose to shed all the mystery that surrounded Britney and the last few years of her life. No where did MTV or Britney every say, “I am going to tell you absolutely everything”. Yes, it was no holds barred, but if you felt like you didn’t get enough, shouldn’t the blame be on the interviewer for not asking all the questions you wanted answered?
This was supposed to act as a mere re-introduction of our beloved Queen of Pop(yes, I went there). To show everyone she is a stable, normal, and ready. I feel MTV succeeded in every way possible. This documentary made me smile, laugh, and at times, feel damn right sad for Britney. No one should have to go through what she goes through on a daily basis. Like she said, most celebrities have 2-4 photographers following them around. How Many does Britney have? Try multiplying that number by 4 or 5 and sometimes even more.
For those of you who don’t think the documentary gave you enough insight. When will enough be enough? How much does one have to give of their personal life, trials and tribulations before you are satisfied?
I am completely satisfied with the documentary and has made me appreciate Britney even more both as the entertainer she is and the Woman she has become.
…Britney will be performing at the Bambi Awards on Wednesday!!!
Spears will mark her first live performance Wednesday night at the Bambi Awards in Germany - her first since that disastrous turn at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2007.
The following is from Rolling Stone. The gave the album 3 1/2 stars out of 5. Woo!
Britney may have left the psych ward, but on Circus, she proves she’s still a freak. The clubby, adventurous pop on her sixth album — her first since getting committed and losing custody of her kids — would have made a fine follow-up to 2003’s In the Zone. “Toxic” producers Bloodshy & Avant hit pay dirt again with the melodic, glowing “Unusual You.” The Max Martin-produced “If U Seek Amy” (say it fast) is a saucy, swinging standout, and the photographer-taunting stomper “Kill the Lights” recalls the synth crush of 2007’s Blackout.
Britney’s vocals on Blackout sounded phoned in, but on Circus, she put in real studio time, actually singing some slow jams. Frou Frou’s Guy Sigworth contributes “Out From Under,” Spears’ best ballad since “I’m Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman.” But there are creepy ones too: Danja’s “Blur” updates 2003’s hungover “Early Mornin’,” as the mom of two sighs, “Where the hell am I?” She does her kids a greater disservice with “My Baby,” the trite ballad dedicated to them. And Mommy shows she has psychodrama to spare on “Mmm Papi,” a go-go romp with daddy issues (”Grab me tight and don’t let go/Mmm Papa, love you”): Is it about the papa who controls her affairs or the paparazzi she had an affair with? The fact that we’re even curious shows Britney hasn’t lost her talent: Her fans still can’t look away.
Here is a picture of Britney at LAX trying to get through the hoard of paparazzi so she can blow everyone away on Star Academy and X-Factor. Good Luck B!!
